Charles City and real estate are two things I have grown to love in the last couple decades. I spent the first 30 years of my professional life working as a hair stylist but made the transition to real estate in the mid-1980s. I became a consistent multi-million dollar producer working in the Waterloo-Cedar Falls area. During that time I continued my education, earning my Graduate of Real Estate Institute and Certified Real Estate Specialist designations.

I joined the team at what was then Larry Stewart Realty in 2003. I am a member of the Cedar Valley Board of REALTORS ®, the Iowa Association of REALTORS ® and the National Association of REALTORS ®. I take pride in my relationships with my clients, and my passion is matching the right seller with the right buyer. I understand the emotions involved in the buying and selling process.

Family is very important to me. With my late husband, Bob, I moved to Charles City in 1997 to be close to our son Mike and his family. Later our two daughters, Kim and Barbara, joined us in Charles City. They have given me my most precious gifts, 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. One of my personal goals is to be the best grandma ever.

Outside of family and real estate, I have become well-connected around Charles City through Immaculate Conception Church, Women’s Connection, Women’s Club, PEO, Elks Club, Knights of Columbus and card clubs.
